This is an opportunity to join a flexible and supportive statewide coastal adaptation and planning team, with the opportunity to lead and shape DEECA's contribution to coastal processes monitoring and data application.

This position leads DEECA's coastal monitoring program, including setting the strategic direction for the program and leading coastal monitoring activities (drones, waves, and other data capture), research partnerships, data analysis, and knowledge product delivery (refer: Victorian Coastal Monitoring Program (VCMP)).

As program manager, you will apply strong management, strategic planning, and technical expertise to provide direction and support for program delivery.
Your input will be highly valued on coastal processes and data for coastal science, engineering, and adaptation planning projects statewide.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, or equivalent Knowledge and experience in coastal monitoring and data capture Experience with coastal processes assessment, modelling, and mapping to inform coastal change analyses Knowledge and experience working with Geographic Information Systems, databases, and portals Project Management skills and experience.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria, with hybrid work arrangements available.
