About the role The Program Manager Climate and Environment is a new position in the Department of Justice that will manage the planning and implementation of programs and initiatives that decrease the Department's greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts consistent with guidance and direction from the Western Australian Government.
This will include leading the development and implementation of actions from the:
WA Climate PolicyWA Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery StrategyWater Corporation's Water Forever – Towards Climate Resilience planThe position holder must possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and years of experience in environmental management or related disciplines.
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector, you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
