Management (Community Services & Development)Full timeSalary: $120,000 - $126,000 + $15,000 car allowance + super + salary packagingAn opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager to lead & supervise the operational delivery of child, youth & family services (out-of-home care services) in the Canberra area.This community service focuses on developing, collaborating, delivering & supporting high-quality outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Provide support, supervision, and development to the out-of-home care services, ensuring the delivery of positive outcomes.Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis, client feedback, and evidence-based practices.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, funding bodies, and external service providers.Cultural Responsiveness: Ensure culturally safe practices are in place, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.Risk and Compliance: Ensure that the risk and management policies and procedures are standard with the OOHC compliance standards.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Community Services field (Postgraduate qualification highly regarded).Significant experience in leadership within the child protection and/or family services sector.Proven ability to manage multiple programs and teams, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.Experience in the delivery of evidence-based programs and out-of-home care services.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Benefits of the Role:Great location close to the ACT centreSalary: $120,000 - $126,000 + super + car allowance + salary packagingAn extra day off for Christmas and Easter.Car allowance up to $15,000.Flexible work arrangements including some WFH.About the recruiterYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a programme manager?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
