Management (Community Services & Development) Full time Salary: $120,000 - $126,000 + $15,000 car allowance + super + salary packaging An opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager to lead & supervise the operational delivery of child, youth & family services (out-of-home care services) in the Canberra area.
This community service focuses on developing, collaborating, delivering & supporting high-quality outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership : Provide support, supervision, and development to the out-of-home care services, ensuring the delivery of positive outcomes.
Continuous Improvement : Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis, client feedback, and evidence-based practices.
Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, funding bodies, and external service providers.
Cultural Responsiveness : Ensure culturally safe practices are in place, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Risk and Compliance : Ensure that the risk and management policies and procedures are standard with the OOHC compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Community Services field (Postgraduate qualification highly regarded).
Significant experience in leadership within the child protection and/or family services sector.
Proven ability to manage multiple programs and teams, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
Experience in the delivery of evidence-based programs and out-of-home care services.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
