Our proven project teams readily address complex and multi-disciplinary activities, providing low-risk and cost-effective solutions to the defence force.The Opportunity:As the Program Manager for our ACS CLCM program of work in our Capability Sustainment and Modernisation operational unit, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, business development and project delivery within the program of work.
You will oversee and support all aspects of the scope of services and will also be responsible for effective HSE and quality management, technical assurance and financial control of the ACS CLCM program.Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:Initiating and setting goals for the CLCM according to the strategic objectives of the ACS Enterprise and any other commercial requirements.Supervision and authorisation of strategic CLCM decisionsInspires the organisation and influences developments within the industry at the highest levelsAdvances the knowledge and exploitation of technology within the CLCMDevelopment of long term strategic relationships with the customer, partners, subcontractors and key support organisations in the CLCMResponsible for stewardship across the ACS EnterpriseAccountable to the Executive Authority for Technical Risk Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Analysis across the ACS EnterpriseManage the CLCM Contract and deliver the CLCM Program to the entire satisfaction of the customer, whilst providing advice to the customer as a Trusted AdviserAs the ideal candidate you will bring:Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business management/administration or equivalentStrong Maritime backgroundExtensive professional experience in project or program management within the Defence domainComprehensive experience in managing Tier 1 maritime sustainment servicesExperience using Earned Value Management techniquesSignificant experience in management of major programs comprised of multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated leadership and communication skillsThe ability to gain and maintain a NV-1 minimum Australian Government Security ClearancePosition is based in Sydney.
Candidates based in other locations are encouraged to apply however travel to Sydney would be required to meet with clients and staff.
