About the role In this position within our Child, Youth and Family Strategic Initiatives team, you will partner with our operational teams to design and deliver key strategic projects and initiatives across our national footprint.
Among your responsibilities will be project managing program and service delivery rollout and streamlining existing support models.
You will also play a key role in leading and influencing foster care and residential care system reform within LWB and the broader Children, Youth and Family sector.
This is a permanent full-time position offering the flexibility to be based anywhere within our national footprint, including hybrid work from home/office arrangements.
Ad-hoc national travel will be a requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities Manage the development, planning, execution, and delivery of projects, utilising relevant project management systems and tools. Prepare all project documentation as required, such as briefs, scopes, discussion papers, memos, executive presentations, communication plans, project schedules and minutes. Actively deliver and/or participate in tasks that contribute to CYF priorities, such as developing and reviewing service models, policies, and procedures; enhancing operational workflows; conducting reviews and developing reports; coordinating key initiatives; and managing administrative requirements specific to these priorities. Manage project-level budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Identify project and business risks and develop mitigation strategies and communicate as required. Establish, develop and manage effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in business, project management, human services, or similar areas Demonstrated end-to-end project management experience in high demand environments. Demonstrated experience and understanding of the operational environment in Out of Home Care or Child Protection Services Experience communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience writing strong project documentation. Demonstrated ability to think laterally and strategically. Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to synthesise large amounts of complex information quickly into simple to understand messages. The successful candidate will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal Record Check and any relevant state-based checks.
