Here, we do incredible work, questioning and challenging, always in the pursuit of excellence.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Lecturer within the School of Applied Psychology you are expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of the bachelor of counselling program and play a major role in scholarship, research and professional activities within counselling.Within this role you will make independent and original contributions to research which has significant impact within counselling. You will also continuously improve teaching practices through professional development and critical reflection informed by a range of evaluation approaches and methods.This is a continuing, full time position and will be primarily based at either the Griffith University Mount Gravatt or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. The addition of the Program Director title for the Bachelor of Counselling Program will run for an initial 3-year term.Salary RangeThe full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level C range $135,319 - $156,035 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $158,323 - $182,560 per annum.QualificationsYou will possess a doctoral qualification in Counselling or related area, have academic membership of Australian Counselling Association and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, and foster an outstanding student experience while encouraging active participation and engagement in learning and teaching.
