The Program Director will oversee the successful delivery of all projects within the organisation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and client objectives. This role involves managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, providing strategic direction, and ensuring cross-functional team collaboration.
The Program Director will take a lead role in defining program objectives, managing stakeholders, and optimising resources to deliver results on time and within budget. Additionally, the role includes mentoring project managers, refining program management methodologies, and contributing to long-term business strategy and development initiatives.
Roles & responsibilities: Program Management Lead end-to-end program delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals and business needs.Develop program objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resource optimization and risk management.Oversee the coordination of multiple projects, ensuring interdependencies are managed and deliverables are aligned.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement program solutions.Establish and maintain key client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.Consulting & Strategy Advise clients on best practices and solutions tailored to their strategic goals.Facilitate discovery workshops, translating client requirements into actionable project plans.Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of program management methodologies.Lead post-program evaluations and lessons learned to drive future improvements.Leadership & Development Mentor and guide project managers and team leads, fostering a culture of high performance.Drive strategic initiatives to improve program delivery processes and ensure alignment with organisational goals.Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and presentations.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and provide input into overall business strategy.Client Support Serve as an escalation point and sometimes as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the program lifecycle.Ensure strong relationships and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.Provide post-program support to ensure the continued success of program initiatives.Lead post-program reviews to identify areas for improvement and future opportunities.Risk & Compliance Comply with relevant firm and industry legislation and incorporate into practices and processes as relevant.Report all identified risks and breaches.Comply with relevant WH&S legislation, adhering to reasonable instructions, work procedures and practices to maintain the health and safety of the team.Report all workplace hazards and incidents. Key performance indicators: Agreed upon through the performance measurement process with the managing Partner. Special conditions: Ordinary full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week between 8am – 6pm.On occasion some out of hours work may be required – please note unpaid overtime may also be required on occasions. Selection criteria: Skills/Knowledge/Experience Extensive experience managing complex Salesforce implementation projects, from initiation to post-launch support.An understanding of Salesforce products, solutions, and integrations, with the ability to align technical capabilities with business needs.Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and resolve conflicts.Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.Ability to mentor and develop junior project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Experience in preparing detailed project plans, reports, and documentation to ensure transparency and alignment with goals.Familiarity with compliance standards, governance frameworks, and risk management in the context of Salesforce implementations.Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments, balancing multiple priorities and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
