This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2024 Cecil Andrews College has access to leading edge businesses and partners through our Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) program and allows our staff and students access to the most up-to-date technology and Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) engagement.
Special programs in STEAM, Australian Rules Football and the Performing Arts provide talented children with unique pathways for success.

Cecil Andrews College is seeking a proactive, dedicated and innovative individual to join their leadership team in the role of Program Coordinator – Pathways.
In collaboration with the Principal and members of the Executive team, the successful applicant will provide educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision, and encouraging school staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
The successful applicant will be working collaboratively with the Year Coordinators and the Student Services team to maintain a positive school environment, implementing strategies in Years 7-12 that ensure high standards in relation to attendance, uniform, behaviour, health and wellbeing.
The successful applicant will ideally be confident and skilled in communicating with students, parents, staff and representatives from external agencies to facilitate improved outcomes for students at education risk.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience, and therefore understanding of, the unique needs of the three states of secondary schooling (Middle School, Upper School and Senior School) so that they can lead the transition support for students entering and exiting Upper School.

The Program Coordinator – Pathways will support the career development of students ensuring they are in successful educational pathways.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring teacher with an interest in student career pathways.
You will work with the school leadership team and embed career development activities into curricular and co-curricular programs.
You will lead all staff across the school in embedding career education, coaching leaders and making links with the schools P-TECH partners and other industry and tertiary providers.
You should be innovative, work collaboratively across a school implementing programs and providing resources to embed career development across learning areas.
We are looking for a leader that enjoys working with students to help them imagine and connect with their future career aspirations.
Teachers in this specialist role will ideally be competent in the interpretation and analysis of system and school-based data.
