About the Role: Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success in delivering specialised Engineering Services to the Royal Australian Navy, we are growing considerably and have an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator to join in our Sydney offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful multi-disciplined team and work alongside industry leaders.
In this role you will: Assist Management in planning, scheduling, and managing program and project timelines.Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential issues and risks and ensuring timely resolution.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, and other necessary documentation.Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that financial objectives are met.Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Support risk management activities by identifying potential risks and assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.Provide administrative support to the project teams as needed.Administer and keep up to date project-related software tools.As the ideal candidate, you will have: Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role.Proficiency in project management software and tools, specifically MS Project.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.Experience building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.Ability to attain an AGSVA Security Clearance - mandatory.What it's like to work with Navantia Australia: At Navantia Australia, we recognise that it's our people who are our greatest asset.
