About the OpportunityWe are now looking for a full-time Program Coordinator based in Broome, Western Australia.
Working with the Reintegration Team Leader and Transitional Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of reintegration support programs and services, ensuring they meet contracted service objectives and outcomes. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinating and monitoring reintegration support programs in alignment with service agreementsCollaborating with senior management to develop and implement innovative service delivery modelsSupporting case management and ensuring accurate data entry aligned with service specificationsMentoring and guiding staff in delivering reintegration support services and group workshopsEvaluating and reporting on program delivery and performance outcomesCoordinating resources, program materials, and ensuring cultural appropriateness of servicesFacilitating relationships with stakeholders, government agencies, and Aboriginal organisationsRepresenting Centacare Kimberley at community forums and promoting its servicesEnsuring compliance with Centacare Kimberley's policies, procedures, and service agreementsManaging transportation and logistics for individuals being released from correctional facilitiesMaintaining a positive team environment and fostering professional development among staffAbout YouTo qualify, you will need the ability to secure Security Clearance through the Department of Justice and a minimum of 4-5 years experience in program coordination.
Experience in coordinating support services targeting vulnerable and at-risk groups will also be essential. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Tertiary qualification in a Human Services field of studyCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentExperience in group facilitation and trainingExperience within an Aboriginal or remote communityKnowledge of adult learning techniquesDemonstrated understanding of case management principles and cultural issuesAs our ideal candidate, you will possess exceptional communication and people engagement skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to mentor and support teams effectively.
