Salary: Level 3, $132,143 - $144,601 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Rossmoyne Senior High School's (SHS) outstanding academic results are only one part of the rich experience delivered for every student in our school. We are seeking an energetic, innovative and inspiring educational leader to take up the position of Program Coordinator – Student Central, working initially with Years 7 and 8. This represents an exciting opportunity for a school leader who possesses the vision, professional knowledge and skills to strategically lead a dual year Student Central team, improving outcomes for all students.
As the Program Coordinator you will lead a team of teaching and non-teaching staff in collaboration with our Associate Principals and other members of the School Leadership Team. Responsibilities include general student central operations, behaviour management, implementing health and wellbeing programs and managing end of line pastoral care activities. To successfully fulfil the role, you should have knowledge of student-centred leadership, considerable knowledge of policies and processes relating to student welfare and the ability to apply and explain this knowledge in a variety of situations and to a range of audiences.
One of your key responsibilities would be to develop and deliver programs that support students across the school, in line with our Business Plan priorities and Rossmoyne SHS Capabilities. This includes promoting the school's iCARE values, positive education, transition between phases of learning and implementing pastoral care programs.
Positive public relations skills are integral, as the role includes liaising with parents and government and non-government agencies. You should have leadership experience in working to ensure all students are provided opportunities to achieve their desired pathway. With the commitment and desire to create and sustain a student-centred environment, you should communicate positively and effectively whilst at all times modelling and promoting the school's vision, mission and core values.
