This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.4 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025 Our School Cassia Primary School (PS) is situated on Kariyarra land in the Pilbara Region. Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop, coordinate, and implement the Early Years Strategy in line with Departmental policy and Partnership objectives.Lead strategic planning initiatives regarding the Early Years Strategy.Coordinate a team of health professionals to deliver the Early Years Strategy.Monitor, evaluate and report of the effectiveness of the Early Years Strategy to key stakeholders.Provide appropriate advice and support to the Partnership stakeholders.Develop and maintain systems and processes to maintain records and facilitate the effectiveness of the Early Years Strategy.Manage the Early Years Strategy budget and resources.Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and networks with health service providers, government agencies and community-based organisations.Prepare research papers, briefings, reports and responses to Ministerial correspondence, parliamentary questions, and general enquiries.Location and Community Port Hedland is a vibrant and exciting place to live and work, located in the heart of Western Australia's Pilbara region. The area is rich in Indigenous culture and history, and offers a diverse range of natural wonders to explore.
The RoleAs a Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. You will develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
Your innovative leadership will support access to a range of educational pathways designed to best meet the diverse needs of our students. You will also undertake administrative duties related to the accountable department and liaise extensively with the Principal, Deputy Principals, Heads of Department/Learning Area, and relevant specialist staff.
