About You Work a s part of the Future Tech cluster as a Program Coordinator, Coordinator, Aviation Maintenance ( Defence ) where you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students in their educational journey. Your responsibility will be to ensure that they receive innovative, customised , high-quality vocational education and training. You will also be responsible for managing staff resources and student administration, offering support to help them achieve their goals. Interacting with other organizations, schools at RMIT, and teaching and administration staff will be a vital part of your role, as you work together to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.   To be successful in this position, you'll have : Skills, knowledge and experience in the aviation ( ideally maintenance) sector , working as an industry practitioner or within an education practioner context . Preferable Australian Defence Force experience (working for or partnering with ). Capacity to coordinate the work of staff in the development and implementation of VE programs in the University, industry or within the community. Demonstrated educational leadership skills that effectively promote teaching and learning. This includes effective interpersonal and communication skills, presentation, facilitation and counselling skills. A bility to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive member of a team.  T eaching experience in the area of this position, including evidence in the use of effective innovative and flexible teaching methods. Demonstrated skills and experience in competency-based assessment.  E xperience in relevant industry, and substantial and current discipline knowledge as it relates to this position.  A sound knowledge and understanding of the vocational education and training sector, and of the training requirements of relevant industries. Ca bility in ensuring current and contemporary vocational competence which meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed. S kills in the use of information and communication technologies. An understanding of resources management issues, including finance, facilities, management, OH&S, Equal Opportunity and Industrial Relations. Qualifications Teaching qualifications – Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment as a minimum. Higher qualifications in Vocational Education Training will be highly regarded.
