Salary: Level 3, $132,143 - $144,601 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

Aspire: to be the best they can be Innovate: to think strategically and explore new avenues to solutions Achieve: to successfully engage and perform in every aspect of their journey through secondary education Hampton SHS is seeking an organised, innovative and motivated individual to fill the position of Program Coordinator – Academic Performance Coordinator for 12 months covering the substantive staff member on leave. The position has a whole school focus with an operational and strategic component combined with an intervention teaching component working with identified small groups of students, e.g., students who have not achieved Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) for a given time period. The school may look at a reduced work fraction if the recommended applicant desires this, although flexibility to be at school for the operational parts of the role must be considered.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in the strategic and operational aspects of the role listed below.
The operational part of the role is working closely with the strategic operations Deputy Principal on all components from set up to delivery of:
OLNA NAPLAN Externally Set Tasks (ESTs) Year 10, 11, 12 Exams Homework Club – Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-4pm The strategic role includes the points below and works in collaboration with other roles in the school such as Aboriginal Education Coordinator, Learning Support Coordinator and HOLAs:
Strategies for monitoring and improving students with multiple D and E grades OLNA interventions – Year 11/12 Whole School Literacy and Numeracy Planning Case management of students with more complex academic needs Hampton is a vibrant and collaborative school committed to the well-being and development of both staff and students.
