Program Coordinator- 4-H Learn Everywhere Position Title: Program Coordinator- 4-H Learn Everywhere Division/College: College of Agricultural & Life Sciences Department: UI Extension 4-H Youth Development Location: Off Campus Location - Remote.
Will travel as needed to Central/Eastern Districts.
Posting Context Statement: The 4-H Youth Development Program Coordinator will have a variety of administrative responsibilities to help the University of Idaho 4-H plan and implement the Learn Everywhere with 4-H program.
Responsibilities include supporting the Program Specialist, providing guidance and direction on converting 4-H curriculum into online learning and working within the region to provide technical and programmatic support to 4-H professionals on the Learn Everywhere with the 4-H program.
Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.
Duties may include: Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions Facilitating communication between program participants and managerial staff Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records Maintaining program calendars and schedules Utilizing University programs to create, review and approve financial documents and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator Other duties as assigned This position is remote and located at an off-campus location.
The individual must have the ability to travel to different counties within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Central and Eastern Districts.
Minimum Requirements: Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions Required Education: High School Degree or equivalent Required Other: Ability to work occasional nights and weekends when required Ability to travel occasionally when required Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles Additional Preferred: Education and/or experience in K-12 education, instructional design, or a similar field Associate's or Bachelor's degree Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research Experience providing customer service Using centralized computer systems (such as financial) while completing administrative tasks Managing calendars and/or scheduling Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship building skills Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and lift items up to 40 lbs.
Degree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of application.
Posting Information: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employee Category: Classified Pay Range: $19.26 per hour or higher depending on experience Type of Appointment: Fiscal Year FTE: .875 Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Funding: This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or funding.
