Description The Role: It's never been a more exciting time to be joining Navantia Australia, one of Australia's leading companies in the Maritime and Defence industry.
Due to Navantia Australia's ongoing success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Program Administrator to join the team out of its Garden Island, Sydney office.
Operating under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract, the Program Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager and the Engineering Change Manager to provide program reporting and monitoring activities.
The Program Administrator is a member of the Program Management Office (PMO) team that provides program controls, monitoring and reporting both internally and externally.
As the Program Administrator your responsibilities include: Prepare, maintain and monitor the program calendar.
Gather, maintain and analyse data to demonstrate program compliance and status, based on Earned Value Measurement (EVM) principles.
Provide support to the Performance Measurement Coordinator with the development and maintenance of project measurement data and indicators.
Provide support to Program Schedulers in the maintenance of the program schedule (MS Project).
Development and delivery of external DSC Program Reporting in accordance with ASDEFCON requirements.
Contract Status Report (CSR).
Combined Services Summary Report (CSSR).
Annual Engineering Work Report (AEWR).
Preparation of materials and data in support of Program Reviews in accordance with ASDEFCON requirements.
Contract Performance Review (CPR).
Combined Services Performance Review (CSPR).
Performance Assessment Review (PAR).
As the ideal candidate, you will have: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or 3-5 years equivalent experience in the program administration area.
Proven experience as a program coordinator, scheduler, project controller or similar role.
Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and project scheduling.
Strong data analysis skills in relation to project scheduling and progress tracking.
Very strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the business and clients.
Strong written skills, report writing (MS Word) and preparation of presentation material (MS Power Point).
Understanding of the Defence Seaworthiness Management System (DSWMS) and the N4 Library.
