Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.Primary objectiveWorking as part of the Digital Project Services (DPS) administration team providing support to the DPS Executive team and services to the programs and project initiatives across the Division.Context statementDigital Project Services (DPS) delivers complex, high value, and high-risk ICT programs and multi-year digital transformation initiatives for core frontline services through an inter-agency collaborative approach.Key duties and responsibilitiesProvide efficient and effective administration support to the Executive team within DPS as directed including diary management and scheduling, booking travel, and various other project support activities.Participate as a proactive member of the DPS Administration team contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of the business.Assist with the management of generic email accounts ensuring requests are actioned or redirected.Create purchase orders and process transactions in NTG systems ensuring compliance with policies.Maintain workbooks, information records, procedures, and data on NTG systems.Assist with arranging and coordinating venues and equipment for training, meetings, and workshops.Selection criteriaEssentialDemonstrated experience in providing high-level administration support in a fast-paced work environment.Proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to use initiative and work under pressure.Well-developed written, oral, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.Demonstrated knowledge and experience booking travel and reconciling purchase orders.Proven skills in the effective use of computers and NTG systems.Demonstrated work ethic and attitude emulating DCDD values.DesirableProven experience or qualification in relevant fields such as business administration, ICT, and finance.Further informationAdditional inclusions may include further information that is relevant to the vacancy, for example, criminal history checks, flexibility in starting dates, requirements for travel, etc.
