Position Overview
The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for a position at the rank of professor with tenure to begin in August 2025.
All subfields will be considered.
Performance Objectives
The candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program and support our commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of a diverse student body at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required:
Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2025, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with rank of professor.
Desired:
Preference is given to candidates with a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and evidence of impact in their field as indicated by citations, funding, and professional service.
Candidates should demonstrate attentiveness to building a diverse intellectual community, in line with OSU's shared values.
