We are looking for a Professional or Senior Traffic Engineer to join our growing Queensland Planning and Mobility Business in our Brisbane, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast offices. All offices are multi-disciplinary, have a supportive team culture and provide a good work-life balance with flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a technical candidate with a passion for delivering high quality traffic engineering willing to take the lead and deliver for both internal and external clients.
To be successful in this role you will bring:Technical excellence and a commitment to delivering successful projects for a broad range of clients spanning state, federal and local government and private developers and transport operators.Contributions to a culture of learning and development in traffic and transport planning.A commitment to build your industry profile with our support and develop client and colleague relationships.A demonstrated understanding of good practice in traffic engineering and applicable guidelines and tools.Demonstrated skill in report writing and presentation of complex concepts and data in easily-understood, graphical formats suited to the intended reader.Project Management capability or a commitment to developing project management skills.Bachelor's Degree (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.RPEQ or working towards.3 to 10 years' experience.Holding experience in TIAs, crash analysis, speed reviews, road safety assessments and strategic design.Experienced in SIDRA modelling.An understanding of modelling concepts (AIMSUN, VISSIM, VISSUM, EMME).An interest in client development, engagement, and proposal writing.A passion to develop the capability of those around you.About WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
