This team works on litigated claims for a number of major insurers, corporates and significant clients in a wide variety of industries. SItting on the legal panels of three of Australia's top four general insurers, as well as a number of other local and international insurers.
If you are: An admitted lawyer in QLD with an absolute minimum of 3 years experience in General Insurance and think you have what it takes to:
Manage client interaction and case theories;Working with a National team of lawyers and for those at Senior Associate level, you will be required to mentor junior team members;Reviewing documents and prepare best evidence in line with case theory;Drafting various forms of correspondence to the Court and third parties and clients;Attend Conferencing with witnesses and preparing witness statements;Preparing briefs for counsel;Work with Counsel from time to time;Drafting Court documents; Attend Court and mentor juniors to do same; and Provide instructions to experts.If you think you have what it takes to do the above, then we have a very rare opportunity to join a top team that has some of the following benefits:
