Established in 1934, with the head office in Port Melbourne; ample off-street parking is provided.Job Description :The Professional Imaging Sales Manager will lead and oversee the organisation's sales strategies and initiatives, driving both short- and long-term objectives.
This role involves evaluating the effectiveness of current sales programs and recommending product or service enhancements to boost customer satisfaction and sales potential.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational goals.Assess current sales programs and recommend improvements.Leverage extensive knowledge of the photographic market; experience with government departments is a plus.Use experience and judgment to plan and achieve sales targets while guiding the industrial sales team.Understand customer motivations and effectively address their needs and desires.Inspire and motivate the sales team to meet individual and organisational sales goals.Interstate and international travel as required.Product management of select Professional Imaging brands.Meet and exceed sales targets.Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.Stay informed about industry trends and equipment.Provide exceptional customer service, including product advice and training.Demonstrate products and explain their features and benefits.Manage sales transactions and resolve customer issues.Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns.Attend industry events and trade shows.Pursue government and private tenders.Qualifications:
Proven sales experience, ideally in the photographic equipment sector.Strong knowledge of photographic equipment.Experience in B2B sales.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Proficient in Imaging Software and Microsoft Office.Relevant photographic qualifications or experience.C.R.
