We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join the Professional Experience (PEx) Team.
In this pivotal role, you will coordinate essential administrative functions and lead a dynamic team to ensure the smooth operations of student placements.
The Role Reporting to the Manager of Professional Experience and Student Support, you will manage an administrative team, oversee work allocations, ensure compliance with ECU policies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
Key responsibilities include: Coordinate the PEx team's daily operations, ensuring quality service delivery, adherence to ECU policies, and support for staff development.
Build strong, service-focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with ECU's objectives and values.
Recruitment of casual academic staff, ensuring compliance with ECU policies and legislative requirements.
Manage team rosters, performance plans, and staff development, while promoting a collaborative team environment.
Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Support and mentor staff through high-level administrative tasks, training, and feedback to foster growth and professional development.
Experience We seek a proactive individual with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with demonstrated expertise in team management, service delivery, and effective communication.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate success in the following: Proven experience in high-level administration and project coordination, preferably within an educational setting.

Benefits & Remuneration This 12-month fixed term position attracts remuneration ranging from $92, 087 to $99,353 (0.8FTE pro rata), plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
