Job Description: What is the role? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional, Data Scientist that specializes in statistical modelling and machine learning to join our dynamic team.
The primary focus of this role will be to design and implement machine learning models to extract insights and patterns from complex, structured and unstructured data.
Please note that we are looking for Sydney based candidates only for this role as the role is based in Sydney. What will you be doing? Understand the problem statement and take a logical approach to problem solving.Curious to deep dive into our data assets and willingness to perform a thorough exploratory data analysis.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, stakeholders and domain experts, to identify data-driven opportunities and translate them into actionable solutions.Be a subject matter expert of various machine learning algorithms and able to apply the appropriate algorithms.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools, and recommend their adoption to enhance our model capabilities.Scale up solutions, by being a publisher of data to cater for wider audience and products.Job Qualifications: Are you the right fit? You need to have: 3+ years of similar data science experienceMaster's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Mathematics or related fieldProven strong experience in machine learning and well versed in utilizing cutting edge technologies and productionising modelsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audienceExperience working in any of the cloud platforms like AWS or GCPExperience in deep learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras is an advantageWhat does success look like?
