Kagome has an exciting opportunity for two Farming Area Supervisors to join the team in the Deniliquin NSW area.
Reporting to the Deniliquin Farming Area Manager and working primarily in either the Birganbigil (Deniliquin) or Pretty Pine/Morago area, the successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the Farm Manager coordinate, plan and execute daily operations, supervising a team of permanent and casual staff and ensuring a Safety & Quality First culture is driven onsite.
Key focus will be ensuring that company targets in terms of yields and quality are met while adhering to budgets, staff, and environmental responsibilities.
This is an operational role. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who has supervisory experience at an operational level within an agribusiness or horticultural environment.
What you will be doingEnsure farming activities are carried out according to the farming plan and timeline.Coordinate and manage weekly staff, equipment and contractor requirements, making sure housekeeping and performance are to a high standard and in compliance with relevant policies, procedure, regulations and legislation.Supervise irrigation staff, systems and infrastructure.Monitor and maintain records of key farming activities, particularly fertilizer and chemical application records.Shifts AvailableDay Shift: 6 am – 2 pmAfternoon Shift: 2 pm – 10 pmNight Shift: 10 pm – 6 amWhat We OfferCasual work through late May 2025, with potential for ongoing seasonal opportunities for outstanding candidatesStarting hourly rate: $30.75 plus overtime, shift loading, and superannuationWhat We're Looking ForTeam-oriented and able to follow instructionsKnowledgeable in OHS principles and practicesAvailable to work both weekdays and weekends as neededPhysically fit and able to perform manual tasks for extended periodsComfortable using smartphones and basic computer functionsAble to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screeningWilling to complete pre-employment physicals, online training, and onboardingForklift license and experience are preferredWhat we offerStability: Permanent full-time employment with a competitive salary, fully maintained vehicle and eligibility to the company Profit Share Bonus scheme.
