The Production Underwriter is responsible for balancing their approach to market engagement and the personal underwriting of the medium to complex risks within our portfolios with a strong focus on new business development and market engagement. The Production Underwriter is also responsible for maximising existing and new business opportunities in partnership with the Regional Underwriting Manager.
The primary objective of this role will be to balance robust broker and market engagement and attend trade events whilst providing professional and efficient underwriting service to achieve profitable premium growth and underwriting profitability in our core segments.
The position involves the underwriting of new and renewal accounts in line with Ansvar guidelines and core sectors within the delegated underwriting authority and in accordance with the Company's strategy to support the profitable growth of the business.
*Travel to visit brokers will be involved in this role, which may include regional locations.
