Shift Manager / Shift Team Leader Location: Deeside
Salary: £42,000 – 45,500 + pension + holidays + benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts of 6 – 2 | 2 – 10 | 10 – 6
A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a production shift team leader / shift manager to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a department.
The Job:Reporting into the Production Manager overseeing teams of approximately 10 Production Operators.Responsible for production teams across a 3 shift pattern.Help set up the plant / factory, processes, oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.Help build the team and culture.Assist with training and mentoring instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment.The Person:Some experience as a production team leader or supervisor role within an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment (e.g., food, beverages, materials manufacturing, packaging, etc).Good understanding of LEAN, 5s, Kaizen, Short Interval Control (SIC) would be an advantage.Engaging leadership and good communication and collaboration skills important.Coaching and mentoring style, understand people, machinery, quality, HSE.Qualifications around leadership, management, safety an advantage but not essential (e.g., IOSH, LEAN, ILM, NVQ, HNC, etc).To apply please send CV to Tim Fawcett at Control Recruitment Solutions or call the office number.
