Production Team Leader

Our client, a leader in sustainable water solutions, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee their production line.
Delivering a comprehensive range of smart, sustainable water solutions to homes, business and industry around the world, our client provides solutions which enables people, business and industry to access clean, safe water, reduce water consumption, and recover and reuse it.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will responsible for leading a team in the safe production and assembly of a variety of components and products.

The role is based in Milperra and the hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm.
Duties include but are not limited to: Undertake supervision and leading hand tasks Ensure that appropriate training is carried out for all team members Ensure that all parts and products are assembled/produced according to the procedures and specifications Ensure that all safety and quality procedures and standards associated to the task are adhered to in accordance company policies and procedures Actively participate in and drive continuous improvement activities Ensure production efficiency and daily output is in accordance with production schedules Maintain 5S standards at all times Develop and maintain contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption of business operations Ensure all stock transactions are recorded and production order material quantities are correct to ensure inventory accuracy To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following: Previous experience in a similar role Strong leadership skills Well-developed communication skills Ability to be safe and protect others from risk Keen attention to detail High safety focus Ability to be efficient and well organised An ability and willingness to meet targets and deadlines Passion for creating and promoting positive workplace culture If you feel you meet the abovementioned critieria and are interested in this opportunity apply now!
