This full-time permanent position will involve a healthy mix of hands-on and leadership tasks.About Tommy CampersTommy Campers' commitment to innovation and building the highest quality campers has made them the camper of choice for people looking to tour, including the ability to go into some of Australia's roughest tracks and remote areas.Every Tommy Camper is built to order locally in Ballarat, with a range of simple and practical options that allow customers to tailor their camper for adventures both big and small.About the roleAs a Production Team Leader, you'll work collaboratively with the Production Manager and floor staff to ensure you meet production goals. Along with performing hands-on production tasks, you will also be responsible for:Overseeing and participating in the successful end-to-end assembly and fit-out of campers and canopiesMaintaining quality and safety standardsAssisting with, and at times conducting daily toolbox meetingsWorking closely with the Production Manager to ensure stock and materials levels are accurateAssisting with ongoing training and development of floor staffBeing an ambassador of workplace safety and continuous improvementTo be considered, we are hoping to speak with applicants who can demonstrate the following skills, experience, and attributes:Previous experience in any of Assembly, Mechanical, or Engineering roles/environmentsAn ability to interpret plansThe ability to mix between hands-on and leadership tasks sequentiallyClear and effective communication skillsThe ability to be on your feet all day at times and perform manual tasksBasic reporting, administration, and computer skillsCommitment to long-term employmentAbility to work towards both individual and team-based goalsForklift licence (preferred, not essential)This role presents a genuine opportunity to be part of something significant in the Ballarat area, with all signs pointing towards a bright future.In addition, the successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and ongoing training/development opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
