In supporting the team at Tommy Campers' continual expansion, we at Workforce Extensions are seeking a hands-on and driven Production Team Leader to lead them through the next phase of growth. This full-time permanent position will involve a healthy mix of hands-on and leadership tasks.

About the role As a Production Team Leader, you'll work collaboratively with the Production Manager and floor staff to ensure you meet production goals. Along with performing hands-on production tasks, you will also be responsible for:
Overseeing and participating in the successful end-to-end assembly and fit-out of campers and canopies Maintaining quality and safety standards Assisting with, and at times conducting daily toolbox meetings Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure stock and materials levels are accurate Assisting with ongoing training and development of floor staff Being an ambassador of workplace safety and continuous improvement To be considered, we are hoping to speak with applicants who can demonstrate the following skills, experience, and attributes:
Previous experience in any of Assembly, Mechanical, or Engineering roles/environments An ability to interpret plans The ability to mix between hands-on and leadership tasks sequentially Clear and effective communication skills The ability to be on your feet all day at times and perform manual tasks Basic reporting, administration, and computer skills Commitment to long-term employment Ability to work towards both individual and team-based goals Forklift licence (preferred, not essential) This role presents a genuine opportunity to be part of something significant in the Ballarat area, with all signs pointing towards a bright future.
