Your opportunity to join our team At our Further Processing Plant, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Meat Inspection department.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring our production and production meet the food safety and quality standards.
As a team leader, you will oversee a group of inspectors responsible for inspecting meat product from all incoming meat suppliers.
This role will have you work on AM shift with flexibility needed as per business requirement.

Training and developing the team to enhance understanding of inspection protocols and trends relevant to food safety Oversee the inspection findings and maintaining the accurate records.
Liase with internal stakeholders, including production staff, Quality teams and planners to address the adherence to plan and also inspection related issues Ensuring the meat is delivered in time to production teams to adhere to production plan Daily stocktakes in meat inspection room and reporting on errors Execute the site's plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines, and allocating resources appropriately.
Liaising with your Supervisor and identifying and managing Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks.
You will bring to this role Experience in a high-volume manufacturing industry in a Team Leader position.
Experience in food manufacturing and/or the FMCG industry will be highly regarded.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
Proven communication and leadership skills to lead a team.
Drive the continual improvement of both processes and people.
A desire to build team capability through training and transfer of knowledge.
Computer literate and comfortable using the MS suite.
Experience managing information related to raw materials, product-in-process, packaging materials, finished products, or packed stock.
Following and maintaining GMP Compliance.
Experience driving positive cultural change.
