Your why  In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our suite of applications, ensuring they meet the needs of our organisation and drive operational efficiency.
This role reports directly to the Banking and Enterprise Applications Manager.
How you will spend your time  As Production Support, your  key responsibilities  will include: Collaborative Support:  Work alongside IT and business units to ensure applications meet operational requirements and support business objectives.
Process Optimisation:  Contribute to efforts aimed at enhancing processes and adhering to best practices in maintenance, support, and deployment of applications, aiming for service excellence.
Application Maintenance:  Provide essential support and maintenance for applications, including routine updates and patch applications to ensure systems operate efficiently.
System Environment Optimisation:  Offer recommendations for optimising application environments to improve performance and reliability based on observed trends and issues.
Third-Party Liaison:  Support interactions with third-party vendors and solution providers to ensure integrated services work seamlessly and meet performance standards.
Support Recovery and Continuity Efforts:  Aid in developing and implementing recovery and business continuity plans to reduce downtime and ensure quick service restoration in case of disasters.
Risk Identification and Compliance Support:  Assist in identifying operational risks and ensuring applications compliance with relevant standards and regulations to protect business operations.
What you will bring  Essential  Banking and Financial Services experience Experience with CRM systems, Genesys Cloud, HCM, or Banking Systems Strong problem-solving and communication skills Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and software development life cycles Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the financial industry Relevant certifications (ITIL 4, COBIT, or CISM) preferred Desirable  Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
