Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of daily operations in your nominated production area. You will be accountable for:Ensuring high quality work is produced and in line with customer specificationsManagement of a production workforce, schedule, quality and safetyDriving development within the team and seeking opportunities for continuous improvementProducing reports for leadership where necessaryConduct meetings including toolbox talks and pre-startsThis is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea / Maryborough, QLD.About You:1-3 years relevant experience in production leadership (manufacturing)Trade qualification - Ideally Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering trade.Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to workExceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levelsExperience with rollingstock production highly desirableAbout the Project:QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland's history.
