Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of daily operations in your nominated production area.
You will be accountable for: Ensuring high quality work is produced and in line with customer specificationsManagement of a production workforce, schedule, quality and safetyDriving development within the team and seeking opportunities for continuous improvementProducing reports for leadership where necessaryConduct meetings including toolbox talks and pre-startsThis is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea / Maryborough, QLD.
About You: 1-3 years relevant experience in production leadership (manufacturing)Trade qualification - Ideally Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering trade.Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to workExceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levelsExperience with rollingstock production highly desirableAbout the Project:QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland's history.
It includes the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland that you can be a part of!
