Your new role Manage production crews, providing leadership for operations and safe working environmentAdhere to Site Safety Health Management System and Environmental and other statutory management plansEnsure all operations targets are met in line with safety standardsSchedule and attend daily pre-start/safety meetingsPerform and submit regular Safe Act Observations (SAOs) using site supplied documentation and reporting processBuild and maintain high performing teamsMonitor and evaluate production outcomes and maintain accurate recordsWhat you'll need to succeed Previous similar leadership experience within an open cut operationKnowledge of current WHS legislation and statutory requirementsFlexible and adaptable to different working environments, with strong problem-solving skillsMust be a team player with the ability to mentor and lead other staffStrong written and communication skillsHigh focus and demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teamsCompetency using Microsoft Office SuiteWhy MacKellar Permanent opportunity with long-term project lifeAttractive salary + 14/7 rotating roster for better work-life balance$20k retention bonus on offer plus accommodation and meals providedReferral bonuses up to $2500!!Only those with the relevant experience and qualifications will be contacted.
