The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team to ensure daily and weekly production demands are met within timeframes and budgets. You will also ensure that all forms of waste are minimised and ensure work complies with the Quality, Safety and Environment Management system.
You will also ensure team members have the skills necessary to safely and successfully perform their duties.
Role Requirements Provide team members with clear direction and set appropriate behaviour standards. Sets clearly defined objectives and plans activities well in advance and considers changing circumstances. Manage, and implement, systems to measure (and reduce) downtime, waste, and labour costs. Motivate, and lead, the production team to maximise output, maintain cost efficiency and meet quality standards. Build the capability of the production team to ensure depth of talent and skill to manage output demands and identify any training gaps. Hours Monday to Friday
6am to 2.30pm
Skills and Experience Trade, technical or tertiary qualified. At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a production supervisors role with direct responsibility for specific outcomes and operational team management experience. LEAN Manufacturing experience.
