The operation has extensive recoverable coal reserves and long-term supply contracts in place, ensuring a long-term future. About the roleBatchfire is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with excellent communication skills to lead our operations. As an appointed Supervisor, you will be accountable for monitoring operating techniques and productivity and responsible for the supervision of your crew, including performance and leave management. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, responsibilities will include;Effective and responsive leadership by demonstrating a commitment to safety and positive working behaviours;Leading production crews to achieve targets in accordance with mine plans and safety, policies, procedures and statutory requirements;Build, lead and develop a team to deliver departmental plans and continuous improvement objectives; Monitor and manage the team's performance against the objectives of the department in line with the plan;Be an effective leader and team member by demonstrating a commitment to safety and positive working behaviours.Skills and ExperienceS123 Supervisory qualificationsSupervisory experience in mining operations to ensure compliance with the Safety & Health Management SystemDemonstrated experience supervising a team to deliver against targetsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively lead a teamThis is a permanent full-time role that offers a long-term career opportunity with an attractive package working a lifestyle roster.
