We are seeking two motivated and accountable individuals who excel in problem-solving and team leadership. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in mentoring our team leaders and driving the daily operations of our manufacturing facility to meet our key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
As our new Production Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership and Management:
Supervise and develop team members, ensuring safety guidelines and company standards (including PPE usage) are met.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace using 5S methodology.
Facilitate employee training, maintain open communication, and participate in hiring new team members.
Operational Efficiency
Oversee daily production, ensuring targets are met and conduct daily meetings.
Utilize the Company ERP system, identify efficiency improvements, and perform basic preventative maintenance.
Ensure proper use and storage of jigs/materials and coordinate with purchasing on shortages.
Maintain compliance with specifications and lean manufacturing principles.
Submit production reports, manage KPI data, and maintain necessary records.
Oversee performance management, the tag and testing register, and pre-start checklist completion.
Systems Improvement
Assist in developing policies, procedures, and SOPs.
About You:
Trade qualification or expertise in fitting and turning, CNC operation, and/or welding (desirable).
Extensive experience and knowledge of manufacturing techniques, practices, and principles, particularly in steel fabrication (mandatory)
Comprehensive understanding and application of OH&S and safe work practices (mandatory).
Proficient in using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and ERP software (mandatory).
Strong drive and motivation to operate safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Keen attention to detail with a sound decision-making ability.
Physical capability to perform tasks associated with the position.
Ability to prioritize workload and delegate tasks efficiently.
Approachable and supportive attitude towards team members and colleagues.
