We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and passionate Production Superintendent for a well-positioned mining business that continue to grow their footprint in the Australian resources sector. Producing an increasing volume with more expansion to come, this open pit coal project offers a unique opportunity to be part of something special.
About the role: This critical site-based role will see you supervise, coordinate and execute production schedules to achieve daily targets, whilst ensuring the safety of your team at all times. You will communicate clearly and work closely with other departments to ensure adherence to the mine plan, site safety, operating procedures and regulations. Leading from the front and supporting skills development within you circle of influence, you will drive an inclusive culture and contribute to this motivated team of industry professionals.
About you: You will possess solid exposure to and ability to deliver the following;
Supervision and management of a surface coal production team Excellent safety knowledge, commitment and focus Ability to oversee a multi-disciplinary team to successfully achieve / exceed production targets Proven experience in open cut coal mining environments. Ability to work closely and effectively with other departments on site Foster open lines of communication, strong relationships and an inclusive culture. You will ideally have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role and hold SSE or OCE qualifications (highly beneficial yet not essential).
