The role An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working employee to join our inclusive Adelaide Brighton team in the position of Production Services Operator.
This full-time permanent role will see you based at our Birkenhead plant, contributing to the cement manufacturing process from day one within an organisational culture focused on continuous improvement. You will receive on-the-job training development!
As a member of the Production Services team, you will work predominantly day shift, with relief rotating shift work as required.

Responsibilities Perform manual physical work on the plant including labouring and cleaningLoad and unload materials and products to/from shipsOperate fixed and mobile machineryProvide relief to shift operations where requiredUndertake training to obtain additional licences necessary for the roleWhat you will need to succeed Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health, safety and well-beingPossess a desire for further career development with a proactive and positive attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesirable to hold a current HR, forklift, front-end-loader, and skid steer license.Be physically fit and comfortable when working in confined spacesHave an aptitude for all things mechanicalHave basic computing skillsShow initiative to succeed when troubleshooting and problem solvingDemonstrate an ability to work as part of a team but equally at home working autonomously.Our business Adelaide Brighton Cement is the leading South Australian manufacturer of cement, lime, and pre-packaged dry blended products.
