Our client is a leading player in the agribusiness industry, known for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions.
The Role We are looking for a Production Scheduler with a strong analytical mindset to drive efficient production scheduling and inventory management.
In this role, you will coordinate schedules to meet customer demand while optimising resources, minimising costs, and maintaining high service levels.
The ideal candidate will have experience in agribusiness or FMCG, understanding the challenges of fast-paced, complex and high-demand production environments.
Duties include: Develop and implement effective production schedules that meet demand while optimising resource allocation and reducing downtime. Analyse production data to anticipate potential issues, adjust schedules proactively, and ensure uninterrupted production flow. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to align schedules and communicate potential risks. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure raw material availability in line with the production plan. Utilise ERP/MRP systems to generate reports, manage data accuracy, and refine scheduling processes. Provide analytical insights to support continuous improvement initiatives and optimise scheduling efficiency. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or similar role, preferably within agribusiness or FMCG. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced skills in Excel or similar software. Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with a detail-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
