Production & Quality Supervisor-Night ShiftSelect Fresh Providores is a market leading family business with more than 30 years of experience. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity for a Night Production & Quality Supervisor has been created. Reporting to the Production & QA Manager you will oversee the busy night shift and its circa 30 staff. In this hands-on role, your focus will be on safely and efficiently completing the production plan in full and to customer standards.
This is a Full Time Role, suitable for an operationally minded, quality-oriented individual with suitable professional qualifications or experience in the food processing, manufacturing, or large kitchen environment.

Could this be you? Min 2+ years recent experience in a Supervisory role, preferably in food production/chef's roleSuitable professional qualifications in Food Technology or as a ChefExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work with key stakeholders and other departmentsProven leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a large team, providing motivation, influence, and supervision.Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP and GMPIdeally an understanding of fresh produceHigh attention to detailExceptional time management and organisational skillsTeam playerStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve conflictsA developed technical ability, dealing with a wide range of processing machineryA proactive attitude and enthusiasm for night shiftsPhysically fit with no work restrictions.A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.Extensive problem-solving skills - experience with root cause analysisForklift license is an added plusMain Tasks: Manage operations of the production kitchen team during the busy night shiftEnsure all produce meets the highest standards of quality and safety, and adheres to production specificationsControl labour costs and costs of goods sold (COGS), ensuring operational efficiency and profitabilityMaintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standardsManage and lead a motivated team of production staffChampion an environment of care and safety, in line with OH & S guidelinesInduction/training of new staff: safety and quality requirementsAddress and respond to customer complaints/NCRsCreate customer samples/new products in conjunction with the Production ManagerMaintain high standards of food safety, including adherence to HACCP and GMP.Completion of production plans, to specs with maximum efficiencyMaintain and achieve KPIs, targets, and overall performance goals, continuously improving on productivityOversee rosters and schedules to ensure smooth operations.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures: OH&S, HACCP and as per Company HandbookContribute to section planning, resource allocation and decision-making.Manage people and resolve conflicts effectively.Create and improve work processes and procedures to minimize waste and maximize productivityIf you have the experience & passion we are looking for and you wish to join the market leader, please APPLY NOW and submit your Cover Letter and CV below!
