About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for an initial 3–6-month contract, with the potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will support our Seaford operations team by overseeing the quality control and compliance, ensuring each product meets required standards. The Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and troubleshooting quality discrepancies and leading activities to formulate solutions, thereby continuously improving production quality and efficiency.
Key duties of this role include: Identify and implement product and process improvement initiativesFault find, troubleshoot and undertake quality investigationsRevise work instructions and update as necessaryConduct incoming goods dimensional and conformity inspectionsConduct supplier audits, as well as internal systems and process auditsEvaluate unit warranty and returns and identify areas of greatest concern for investigation. To be successful in this role, you will have:
