Trovon Group is a leading independent rail component remediation specialist, with a wealth of experience in mainline, high speed, freight, metro and light rail component remediation services. We have engineering capabilities developed in Australia, that are now available to various countries throughout the Middle East and South East Asia.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for an initial 3–6-month contract, with the potential to go permanent. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will support our Seaford operations team by overseeing the quality control and compliance, ensuring each product meets required standards. The Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and troubleshooting quality discrepancies and leading activities to formulate solutions, thereby continuously improving production quality and efficiency.
Key duties of this role include: Identify and implement product and process improvement initiativesFault find, troubleshoot and undertake quality investigationsRevise work instructions and update as necessaryConduct incoming goods dimensional and conformity inspectionsConduct supplier audits, as well as internal systems and process auditsEvaluate unit warranty and returns and identify areas of greatest concern for investigation. Follow through process and close out.Formulate quality plans that will lead to product and process improvementsAbout you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 5 years working as a Production or Quality Engineer within heavy engineering rail or associated industryBachelor's Degree in engineering or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in quality and/or warranty investigationsProven ability to drive continuous improvement across operations processesProven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skillsHighly process drivenTo be part of our growth and success story, apply now by clicking the 'Apply for this job' button.
