Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Machine Operators to work day shift and Afternoon shift for our Manufacturing client in Eastern Creek.
The Company Our client is a worldwide leader in PVC stabilizers, they are a vertically integrated company that manufactures many of its raw materials at its state-of-the-art production facilities.
The company has developed its product range to meet the growing use of PVC in the world, and currently manufactures stabilisers as well as related additives.
Due to high demand they are currently looking for Machine Operators on day and afternoon shift.
Benefits Full time hours on day and afternoon shift Potential for overtime work 15 mins paid shower time at the end of each shift View to go permanent with the company after 6 months Immediate start Great weekly return of pay On-site parking available Ongoing training and development Shift times: Day shift: Mon - Thurs – 6am – 2:30pm and Friday – 6am – 12:30pm Afternoon shift: Mon - Thurs - 2pm - 10:30pm and Friday - 12pm - 6:30pm Duties and responsibilities Weighing raw materials Maintaining and operating of process and packaging equipment Operating forklift to load and unload materials Machine Operation Manual handling of up to 25kgs Package materials and finished goods as required Re-bagging materials, bags can be 25 Kgs in weight, Batches can be made up of up to 1 Tonne of materials per run Quality checking products Writing down batch numbers of raw materials used on the back of batch sheets provided Tablet / computer operation to enter Batch Machinery requirements Skills and Requirements: Previous experience working in a similar industrial / chemical manufacturing environment Be physically fit and must be able to conduct manual handling duties up to 25kg (essential) Experience handling with powdered chemicals Current forklift license Chemical Batching experience is advantageous Drivers license and own vehicle (no public transport available to this site) A strong commitment to work and willingness to learn Must be flexible with working hours Positive attitude and attention to detail Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team Must have Full Australian working rights If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Shareen Kumar on skumar @fuserecruitment.com with your resume.
