The Opportunity
Based on our Dandenong site and reporting to the General Manager, this role will strategically plan and schedule the manufacturing schedule in line with Operational needs and our customer's expectations.
With your exceptional communication skills and your ability to work cross-functionally with teams in manufacturing, distribution and our valued customers, coordinate the timely release of production based on due dates and customer requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be: -
Planning
Daily Scheduling of machines assigned to you, based on the due date and customer requirements
Adjust the Schedule to include any downtime and revised delivery times
Coordinate the setup and running of special orders
Print sales orders and verify the orders against the price lists and enter customer orders into SAP.
Closely managing all production orders through MRP.
Partner with Production Team on manning and machine requirements on a daily basis.
Liaise with Procurement to ensure available stock for production
Work closely with Senior Management and sales to provide ETA's for stock
Attend Customer planning meetings
Customer Service
Entering new customer sales orders and verifying that MOQ and lead times are correct.
Consulting with customers to ensure we meet their delivery requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service to our customers over the phone, with a key focus on resolving customer inquiries, troubleshooting problems, performing related administrative tasks, and educating customers on our products and services.
About You
You must be an Australian Citizen or have Australian permanent Residence.
You will naturally have a friendly and patient disposition with an ability to engage others in conversations and want to contribute to working with a growing and innovative company.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:
3 – 5 years experience in a similar role within manufacturing
In-depth knowledge and experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proven ability to work with complexities.
Highly organised and motivated with strong personal values including high integrity, reliability, and excellence.
Ability to self-manage and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Ability to prioritise, multitask and work cross-functionally
