Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join our client's team.
This role ensures smooth manufacturing operations by coordinating production schedules, optimising resources, and maintaining inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in production planning within a Lean Manufacturing environment and a strong focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and operational goals.Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and workflow management.Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the timely availability of materials for production.Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations, including procurement, production, and quality control.Identify and resolve production delays, working proactively to ensure minimal disruption.Use Lean Manufacturing principles to drive process improvements and optimise production efficiency.Ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Production Planner/Scheduler in a manufacturing environment, preferably within construction product manufacturing.Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and how to apply them to streamline processes.Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with production planning software or ERP systems.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.What We Offer: A stable, full-time position in a growing company.The opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team.Competitive salary and benefits package.A chance to contribute to exciting and challenging projects in the construction industry.Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
