IMMEDIATE start and overtime available!About the role:Based in Moama, NSW, we require an enthusiastic and energetic Production Planner / Scheduler to join our busy Production team.
Your role is required to perform a wide variety of duties to provide planning, clerical, and administrative support, and to work cooperatively with others as part of a team.Responsibilities include:Assist the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing operationsPlanning and scheduling production to ensure delivery dates are metManage and coordinate day-to-day activities as per the production scheduleEnsure that production job packs and documents (drawings, specifications, BOM's and purchase requisitions) are released in accordance with the production schedule.Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure product excellence.Identify and provide solutions for production issues and inefficiencies.Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments to streamline processes and drive improvement.Maintain, modify and update production and engineering operating procedures.Work in conjunction with other departments to achieve business and operational goals.Document, Record and File all necessary information for project.The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar role in a manufacturing business would be highly regardedExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Understanding of production processes and quality control management.Working knowledge of ERP systems.Be a driver of change.Applications:Only applications submitted through Seek and those with the right to work in Australia will be considered.This is an on-site role.
