MITS Alloy, a subsidiary of the ARB Group, is an Australian manufacturer specialising in premium aluminium trays and canopies.
Based in Newcastle, NSW, MITS Alloy serves both national and international markets with high-quality products designed for durability and performance.
The Role: MITS Alloy is seeking a dedicated and organised Production Planner to support the Production Manager in ensuring the efficient production and dispatch of our MITS Alloy trays and canopies.
This key role will involve working closely with the Production and Warehouse/Dispatch teams to meet customer expectations and delivery timeframes.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and maintain the Production Plan, ensuring timely tracking and updates of all orders.
Communicate dispatch and delivery timelines to customers and address any inquiries or concerns.
Work closely with the Production and Warehouse/Dispatch teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
Continuously monitor and revise the Production Plan to accommodate operational changes, delays, and shifting priorities.
Maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and factory equipment.
Adapt and adjust production plans as needed to meet evolving production requirements.
Use computer systems and software (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and production management systems) for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
Ensure product quality standards are met and maintained throughout the production process.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, and factory equipment.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and production management systems.
Ability to adapt to changing production requirements and priorities.
Awareness of product quality requirements, standards, and inspection processes.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, or supervision (desirable).
