Join a large Australian owned business based in Wetherill Park Manage the production and distribution planning for a critical site with high profile products Full-time Permanent and flexible working environment - 2 days WFH Opportunity to work on Continuous improvement initiatives About the Role Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages hub for the eastern seaboard. This state-of-the-art facility produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.
We are currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to look after the production scheduling and distribution of our milk-based beverages.
You will be responsible for creating and managing the Production Schedule on a daily basis to achieve the customer service promise while minimising costs.
This is a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a difference and continuously improve our processes.
The role will be based at site, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week and 3 days on site, with each Wednesday being an anchor day to meet face to face with stakeholders and colleagues.
Responsibilities : Manage detailed Production Plan and chair the Supply Review for the site Work closely with Manufacturing teams to coordinate daily production schedule Daily reporting and root cause analysis of issues, escalation of relevant issues Responsible for communicating to key stakeholders (Demand, Materials, Operations and Logistics) any changes to plan Maintenance of relevant Master Data to support the supply planning process About you Production planning in FMCG is ideal, also Materials planners seeking a new challenge considered Practical understanding of the Demand, Supply and S&OE disciplines with a Continuous Improvement mindset Strong problem solving and communication skills with an ability to engage with various key stakeholders Proficiency using technology tools that enable planning and reporting - SAP, MS Excel, PowerBI Applications The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
