About the Roles Mt Arthur Coal are currently seeking to employ multiple Production Operators to join our high performing team. These opportunities are being offered on a residential basis in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of NSW. You will enjoy working a four panel, straight 5/4 roster, allowing flexibility throughout the week to complete daily activities if needed. BHP has a strong exciting future transitioning a large scale operation to closure. These opportunities are well suited to someone who enjoys a challenge, enjoys working on large equipment and has experience in operating different types of mobile plant machinery. About You As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following: Overriding commitment to safety and BHP Charter Values Dedicated and enthusiastic Work effectively with other team members Keen to learn and a willingness for self-improvement Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure Effective listener and have well developed interpersonal skills Minimum C class Driver's Licence Experience operating CAT 789, 793, Liebherr T282, or other equivalent sized haul trucks is required, whilst experience operating two or more of the following equipment groups is highly regarded: Excavators – Liebherr 994/9400, 996/9600, 9800, Hitachi 3600, 5600 Shovels – P&H 4100XPC Track Dozer – CAT D10 or D11 Wheel Dozer – CAT 844 or 854 Loaders – CAT 992, 993, 994 Graders – CAT 16, 18, 24 Watercarts – CAT 777 Candidates with current site experience and exposure, along with those that are suitably qualified as Trainer Assessors, are encouraged to apply.
